Richard M. Adams, 55, of Morton passed away at 6:05am Sunday Sept 19, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on July 27, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. the son of James and Roberta Reed Adams.
Surviving is Susie Bradford with whom he made his home. Also surviving is his mother Roberta Adams of Philadelphia and his stepmother Betty Adams of Tucson, AZ. Further surviving is one sister Roberta Thomas of Indianola, IL, one brother James (Debbie) Adams Jr. of East Peoria, IL, one half sister Linda Adams of Philadelphia, three step sisters Cindy Meyer of Canton, IL Kathy (Lowell) Foote of the state of Wyoming, and Susan (David) Foster of Tucson, AZ. His father and one stepsister preceded him in death.
He was an honorably discharged US Army veteran. He faithfully worked for A.L. Puckett Tax in Morton for 18 years last working in August of 2010.
Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial visitation scheduled from 6pm-8pm Thursday Sept 23 at the American Legion 24 E. Adams Morton, IL. A second memorial visitation will then be from 1pm until 5pm Saturday Sept 25 at Leisure Acres, Building 28, 200 Carlson Ave, Sunnyland, IL. Memorials may be given in his name to the Richard Adams fund c/o A.L. Puckett Tax 31 E. Jackson Morton, IL 61550.
