Obituary

Juliette Tetreault, 92, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Woonsocket, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Florida. She was the wife of the late Alva P. Tetreault who died in 1982.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Aurora (Laprey) Vadenais. She was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket. Mrs. Tetreault resided in Florida with her daughter for the past 5 years.
She was employed by Woonsocket Dress Company and Royal Robes.
Mrs. Tetreault, along with her late husband, was a founding member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs. She was active in many aspects of the church including the Ladies Altar Society, volunteering many hours for the annual OLQM festival, and helping to coordinate various other activities for the benefit of the parish.
She also enjoyed participating in several seniors organizations and excursions to Atlantic City.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudette Mraz of FL, a grandson Michael C. Mraz, III of NJ. She was the sister of Constance Beaudet of Woonsocket and the late Florence Lemieux. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Visiting hours in celebration of her life will be Thursday from 5-8 pm. Flowers are welcome or memorial donations in Juliette’s honor may be made to Hospice Foundation, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL. 34667-2455.
