Joanne M. (Robinson) O’Rourke, age 77, entered into eternal life with her family by her side on Sunday September 19, 2010. Joanne was the loving wife of the late Richard E. O’Rourke and is survived by her children, Roseanne Soffron of Exeter, NH, Daniel O’Rourke of East Bridgewater, Julie Zink of Lakeville, Pauline Ceven of Dighton and Michael O’Rourke of Rockland. She also leaves her sister Patricia Zampine of Randolph, her brother, Jack Robinson of Hanover, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She is predeceased by her sister Alma Cormey. Joanne was a very loving Bus Driver for the Weymouth Schools for 25 years. She was born in South Boston and was a proud South Boston Resident before becoming a long time South Weymouth Resident.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday September 23 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Donations may be made in Joanne’s memory to CAR, 33 James Reynolds Rd. Unit C, Swansea, MA 02777.
