Josephine Madden, 96, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the Haven Health Center in Derry. Mrs. Madden was born in Nova Wisz, Poland on May 26, 1907, a daughter of the late Alexander and Amelia (Jakaboska) Borowski. She was a resident of Derry for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry and was a charter member of the Tabernacle Society. She retired from the Klev Bro Shoe Company in Derry.
She is survived by one daughter, Pauline Madden of Derry, one son, Robert J. Madden of Derry, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, Walter Borowski of Derry, one sister, Celia Dors of Derry, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband J. Clement Madden in 1984.
At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice
