Louis A. Post , of Sharon, died. September 18, 2010 in the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton following a brief illness. He was 89. Louis was a retired technical writer for the insurance industry and a resident of Sharon for over 50 years. He also worked for FM Global, and Woods Hole as an oceanographer. He enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, and carpentry.Devoted husband of Rita J. ( Johnson ). Loving father of Mark Post of Canton, Mary Decker of Newton, Andrew Post of Sharon, Robert Post of Sharon, John Post of Dedham, Judy Proia of West Roxbury, and Janice Post of Wellesley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours from the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton, Monday from 9-10 AM. A Latin Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday September 20, 2010 at 10:30 in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 227 Elliot St. Newton.
