Thompson, Kenneth N. 76 of Louisville passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday September 14.
He retired from L.G. & E. as the Manager of Risk Management after 37 years of service. He was a University of Louisville Alumni, past president of the Kentuckiana
Chapter of the Risk Insurance Management Society and former member of the EEI Risk Management Committee.
He loved U of L Football and Basketball as well as Ballard High Girls Softball, where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Jean Bodner; children Kenneth B., Michelle Heuer (Dale), grandchildren Christina Bosemer (Wes), Natalie Thompson,
Amy Cook, Kenneth Nolan Thompson (Allison), Chelsea Sweeney; Great grandchildren Austin Cook, Kadie Bosemer and Brayden Thompson and his beloved dog Nellie.
His Funeral Service will be 10 am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd.
Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
