Gloria F. (Taglilatelo) Woodside, of Medford, died Wednesday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 84.
Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Carmella (Dellanno) Taglilatelo. A Medford resident for most of her life, Gloria worked in the interior decorating industry. A talented stitcher, she helped design and assemble large custom draperies for commercial settings. Her work adorned banquet halls, banks and hotel salons in the Boston area. Gloria was devoted to her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially.
The devoted mother of Ronald Woodside of Maine, She was a loving grandmother of Ginger Gladstone of Lynn, Brenda Woodside of Worcester and Laura Love of Limerick, ME. She was a loving great-grandmother to Elizabeth Houston and Harmony Love. She was the dear sister of Angelina, Robert and Joseph Taglilatelo and the late Maria Demers, Louis, John, Salvatore and Carl Taglilatelo.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, Monday, September 20th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
