Obituary

PALMER, MA- Joseph J. Nolan 65, of Palmer, died Wednesday September 15, 2010 at home following an illness.
Born in Milford, June 12, 1945 a son of the late Arthur M. Nolan Sr. and Margaret M. (Dacey) Nolan, he had lived in Palmer for the past 15 years and was a former resident of Franklin, and Florida.
Mr. Nolan was educated in Franklin schools, and until his retirement worked as an aircraft mechanic for the Sikorsky Corporation.
He served in the United States Army; he attained the rank of Private and was awarded the Sharpshooter Badge (M-14) & Marksman Badge.
His interests included following all the Boston sports teams especially the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by a brother; James T. Nolan of Brockton, & 2 sisters Theresa M. Yadisernia and her husband Fred of Norfolk, Mary M. Dellorco and her husband Donald of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Arthur M. Nolan Jr.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
