TAUNTON – Marjorie A. (Beals) Alphonse of Taunton, died at Morton Hospital on Sept. 15, 2010.
She was 78.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Marshall) Beals.
Raise and educated in Taunton, Mrs. Alphonse was employed as a stitcher for the former Rennie Curtain Factory, and the former Robinson Curtain Factory.
She retired many years ago.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, music and dancing.
She leaves a son, Kenneth H. Alphonse, Jr. of Taunton; a daughter, Karen Correia of Taunton; two brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Eva Ormond.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Monday Sept. 20th at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 19th from 4 to 7 p.m.
