Janet "Missy" (Burgess) Noyes, 67, of North Stonington passed away peacefully at Westerly Hospital on September 14, 2010 surrounded by her loving family after a long and extremely courageous battle with COPD and lung cancer.
She was born in Westerly, RI on June 21, 1943 to the late Lila F. Partiss and Charles A. Burgess Sr.
The unconditional love she had for her family will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by her longtime Special Friend Walter K. Taylor, her Daughter, Best Friend, and Life Line Brenda Mitsko and her Husband Mark of Stonington, her Daughter Debra McPherson of MA, her Son Wayne S. Burroughs and his Wife Tammy of Ledyard, her Son Bruce W. Burroughs and his Wife Brenda of North Stonington, her Son Robert W. Burroughs Jr. of Fla, her grandchildren Mark W. Mitsko and his wife Jennifer, Steven Mitsko, Wayne S. Burroughs Jr. and his wife Holly, Sarah Burroughs and wife Alexandrea Charles, Clarissa Burroughs, Hayley Keenan, Michael Burroughs, Bruce R. Burroughs, Christy Valle, Stephanie Tedford, Robert W. Burroughs III, Jason Burroughs, Amanda Burroughs and several Great Granchildren.
She was predeceased by her Husband Bruce R. Noyes in 1987 and her two Brothers, Stephen F. Burgess and Charles A. Burgess Jr. her Grandson Bruce W. Burroughs Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 10:00am in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic CT.
