Obituary

WORCESTER: Anna V (Laukaitis) Miller 92 of Worcester passed away November 28th 2003 at The Odd Fellows Home after being cared for by the exceptional and caring Nursing and CNA Professional Staff.

Her husband of 53 years Felix C Miller died in 1982. She leaves a daughter Judith A Schwartz and her husband Lee of Worcester and a son Ronald W Miller and his wife Maureen of Auburn. A son Philip R Miller Sr. of Leicester, died November 16th. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Margaret Corsac Beam of Scottsdale Arizona, a daughter in law Winifred Foley-Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Nellie Corsac and Mary Corsac, her sister in law and best friend for over 65 years Ann S Miller and her beloved daughter in law Julia A (Crawford) Miller.She was born in Worcester a daughter of John and Nellie (Babrauskas) Laukaitis and moved to Lithuania as a small child, where she was raised and educated. She returned to Worcester in 1924 where she remained for the rest of her life.

Anna worked at Washburn Wire Co. and at Parker Manufacturing Co. until she retired in order to devote her time to caring for her many grandchildren.

She was a member of Our Lady of The Angels Parish and was a founding member of Our Lady of Vilna Parish in Worcester.

Her funeral will be held tomorrow December 1st from The Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home 298 Grafton Street with a Mass at Noon in Our Lady of The Angels Church 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.Calling hours at the funeral home are from 5 to 8pm today November 31st.The family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to The Restoration Fund of Our Lady of The Angels Church 1222 main Street Worcester Mass. 01603,
