Clayton E. Tripp, 83, of S. Dartmouth died Monday, September 13, 2010 at The Highlander in Fall River after a long illness. He was husband of the late Ellen (Brown) Tripp.
Born in Acushnet, son of the late William and Letitia F. (Graves) Tripp, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. A WWII veteran, he served his country in the Navy. Mr. Tripp was the owner / operator of Tripp’s Used Cars in Dartmouth. He was a member of the Dartmouth Grange #162.
Survivors include a son: Clayton E. Tripp, Jr. of S. Dartmouth; a daughter: Karen Daniels-Ambrifi of Middletown, RI; and a nephew: Bob Oliver.
He was brother of the late Carol W. Oliver.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home at 6:30 P.M.
