Obituary

Christopher W. Fitzpatrick, 52, of Norfolk died September 13 at his home following a brief illness. He was the husband of Patricia Weed.
Born in Boston, March 17, 1958, the son of the late James K. and Glory (Cotting) Fitzpatrick, Mr. Fitzpatrick was raised in Newton and had lived in Dedham for several years before coming to Norfolk 13 years ago.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was a graduate of St. Sebastian’s School in Needham and Northeastern University.
A banker, Mr. Fitzpatrick had worked for CITI Bank for the past three years. He had previously worked for Sovereign Bank and State Street Bank.
Chris loved to ride his motorcycle; he also enjoyed target shooting, camping and hiking, woodworking and fixing things. What Chris will always be remembered for is his enjoyment in making others laugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Carolyn, Bill, Jack and Leslie Fitzpatrick, all of Norfolk.
He is also survived by his sisters, Carol McFadden of Damariscotta, Maine, Glory Fitzpatrick of California, Kate Barnico of Westwood and Leslie Meinhart of Needham. He was the brother of the late James Fitzpatrick.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17 in the Allin Congregational Church in Dedham at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin.
