Arleen A. Virga, 49, of Franklin died peacefully September 12, 2010 at home following a long battle with Leiomyosarcoma.
Born in NYC, July 4, 1961, the daughter of Theresa (Reilly) Virga of NYC and the late Rosario Virga, Arleen was raised in NYC and lived in Franklin for the past 24 years.
She was a 1979 graduate of Floyd High School, graduated from Dean College and in 2004 graduated U Mass Boston where she earned her nursing degree.
Arleen had been working as a Registered Nurse for the last 5 years, working in Brockton Emergency Room, Womens & Infants, Providence and OB -GYN Milford.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her children, Stephen, Daniel, Jamie and Shayna of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sister, Theresa Cleary of NYC and her brother, John Virga of NYC as well as three nephews and one niece.
Her service will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway. She will then be cremated.
