CAROLYN OEHRLE,84, passed away September 7, 2010 at Atria-Springdale in Louisville.
She was the former Carolyn Friedman and a native of Shively, Ky.
She is preceded in death by her infant son, Richard and parents, John and Catherine Friedman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Alfred “Fritz” Oehrle; daughters, Linda Smith (Tom), Judee Richardson (Darrell) and Donna Nacke (John); six grandchildren, Scott
Smith (Stacey), Richard Walsh, Lisa Eaton (Mike), Drew Richardson, Meghan and David Nacke; great-grandchildren, Brennan and Kylie Walsh and Alyssa and Adam Eaton.
She was a former member of St. Helen Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Altar Society, presently a member of St. Lawrence Church, a devoted church and school volunteer, and an avid UK fan. She was a loving wife, mother, and adored Mim, who touched the lives of many with her determination and spirit and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, 40216, with a memorial Mass immediately following.
