Obituary

Alexandria------Doris C. Pike, 73, of 42 Patten Road, died at her home on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Mrs. Pike was the widow of Stanley J. Pike who died in 2002.
Mrs. Pike was born February 8, 1937 in Laconia, N.H. She had resided in Laconia for most of her life before moving to Alexandria in 2002. She had been employed as a chef at the St. Francis Home in Laconia and had formerly was a chef at Jimmy’s Bakery in Lakeport.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Brian Pike, and his wife, Bonita , of Alexandria; three daughters, Brenda Lee Grant and her husband, Michael S. Grant, of Laconia, Jenny Lynn Judd of Laconia and Carrie Jean Pike, also of Laconia; ten grandchildren, Steve Bean, Kevin Bean, Julie Anne Ball, Erick Stanley Pike, Christina Grant, Angela Grant, Sara Ann Taro, Anthony Marcus Taro, Jamie Middleton and Andrew Wilder; three great grandchildren, Cameron Douglas Eaton Bean, Iliana Stephenia Pike and Khloe Beth Pike; a brother, Elmer Herbert, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a sister, Gloria Cram, of North Baltimore, Ohio. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Pike was predeceased by a grandson, Richard Omer Pike, in 2008.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 11:00AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
