Obituary

WEBSTER: Edna M. (Ouellet) Arsenault, 81, died peacefully in the care and comfort of her family on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Webster Manor following a period of declining health.
She was born in Waltham on September 10, 1928 the daughter of the late Clarence and Edmee (Cormier) Ouellet.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Halloran and her husband Stephen of Milford, NH; Kathie Maker and her husband Frank Jr. of Palm Coast, FL and Maureen Grey and her husband Chuck of Webster. Grandmother of Krystal Feeley of Hudson; Corey Halloran and his wife Stephanie of Marysvilles, CA; Stacey Mundo of Palm Coast, FL; Frank Maker III of Sacramento, CA; Christopher, Curtis, Kelsey and Madison all of Webster. Great-grandmother of Catherine and Aidan Mundo and Cullen Halloran. Sister of Jack Ouellette of Port St. Lucie, FL; Rose Cormier and Delia Colangelo both of Waltham. She was the wife for 54 years of the late Henri G. Arsenault who died in January 2001.
Edna spent her formative years in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1946. For many years she was the Business Manager for Robert E. Nims Catering of the Hillcrest in Waltham. For over ten years she served as a bookkeeper with the Waltham News Tribune before retiring. She had been a former resident of Marlborough for 10 years and of Moultonboro, NH. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Route 30), Wayland.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at 9:00 am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main St (Route 27), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Arsenault family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that memorial gifts in her memory may be sent to Webster Manor, Resident Activities Fund, 745 School St, Webster, MA 01570.
