Amos, Carl E., 80, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away
on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Masonic Home of Louisville, Paradise Island.
He was a Marine veteran and retired from H & S Hardware. He was the former employer of Belknap Hardware and a Kentucky Colonel.
Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Glass.
He is survived by his son, Carl E. Amos, Jr. (Sally) of MISS.; daughters, Debbie Davis of ALA. And Carol Wiseman of TENN.; sister, Frances Heath of IN.; step-sons, Butch Glass (Faye) and Steve Glass (Joyce), who cared for him; step-daughter, Ruth Shortt (Mitch) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family of Carl want to give special thanks to the staff of Masonic Home for their love this past year.
Funeral service will be 11am on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation to the public will be from 4-8pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
