Obituary

Donald E. “Eddie” Theriault, 77, of Franklin died September 7 at his home; he was the husband of Beverly A. (Sullivan) Theriault for the past 49 years.
Born in Milton, September 6, 1933, the son of the late Joseph G. and Marie (Surette) Theriault, Mr. Theriault was raised in Milton and had lived in Franklin for the past 48 years.
Mr. Theriault was a graduate of Milton High School and had been a self-employed painting contractor in Franklin for many years.
Mr. Theriault served in the Navy during the Korean War attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
He enjoyed traveling and gardening but above all, his life was about his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Helen R. Mullen of Franklin, Michelle A. Barone and her husband John of Lincoln, RI, Edward D. Theriault of Framingham, Renea M. Pisani and her husband Stephen of Franklin and Donald E. Theriault Jr. and his wife Linda of Mission Viejo, California.
He is also survived by his sisters, Yvonne Leonard and Ann Marie Sullivan, both of Westwood.
Eddie was also the grandfather of John, Michael and Nicholas Barone, Zachary, Joshua and Nicole Pisani and Jordan, Donald E. III and Lucas Theriault.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 11 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin at 11:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at Noon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
