Obituary

Paul B. Antonelli, of Lynn, formerly of Medford died suddenly at the Union Hospital. He was 47.

Paul was raised in Medford, the son of the late Dominic and the late Mary (McKenzie) Antonelli.
Paul loved his family and found great joy in being a loving husband, father and friend to many. A Lynn resident for 14 years, Paul lived most of his life in Medford and graduated from the Medford Vocational School in 1981. Paul was a talented hockey player in his younger years and was a goalie on a semi-pro hockey team. He loved muscle cars and was very proud of his 1986 Monte Carlo Super Sport. Paul worked as a supervisor for American Food and Vending of Woburn.

The beloved husband of Joan (Kennedy) Antonelli (formerly of Somerville), he leaves his two children, Paul Jr and Jennifer Marie, both of Lynn. He was a loving brother to Angela Diaz and Frances Antonelli, both of Revere, William Antonelli of Medford, Anne-Marie Miele of Alabama, Cheryl Chesna of Saugus and the late Donald Antonelli. Paul leaves his cousin and best friend Will Antonelli as well as many dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law.

A funeral mass will be offered Saturday, September 11th at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 579 Boston St., Lynn followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery. Procession will gather at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford at 8:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited at may attend visiting hours Friday from 3 - 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Charity of One's Choice.
