Obituary

Pauline J. (Mangio) Adie, 94, of Medway, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of William A. Adie who died in 1996.

Born in Boston on June 28, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Calapai) Mangio.

Mrs. Adie was a resident of Medway for the past 21 years and formerly resided in Roslindale.

She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

Mrs. Adie is survived by four children, William Adie, Jr. of Mansfield, Mary Mangio of Westwood, Robert Adie of Corinth, NY and Paula Cotter of Medway and a brother Leo Mangio of Milton.

She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Elizabeth Beard and sister of the late Josephine Blanke, Frances Risk, and Vincent, James, John and Joseph Mangio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday, September 10 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m.
