Linda Ford Gray, age 63, died on September 3, 2010 at her home in Horn Lake, MS. Ms. Gray was born on April 14, 1947 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Rev. John H. Ford and Marie Flowers Ford. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Water Valley, MS. Linda was a gospel singer and loved singing in churches. She was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College in Memphis, TN.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held at the First United Pentecostal Church of Water Valley, MS at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2010, with Bro. Charles Compton and Bro. Paul Marshall officiating. Interment will take place at the First United Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Linda is survived by three sisters, Jean (Jerry) Bounds of Southaven, MS, Nancy Hine of Water Valley, MS and Judith St. John of Southaven, MS; two brothers, Sonny Ford (Pam) of Sardis, MS and Mike (Sherry) Ford of Collierville, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
