Obituary

Arthur D. “Harpo” McHugh, of Lowell formerly of Woburn, passed away at the Veteran´s Administration Hospital in Boston following a short illness, he was sixty-five years old.

Born in Burlington he was the son of the late Ann M. (Popoloski) and Arthur J.. McHugh. He attended St. Charles School and Woburn High School. He was a Viet Nam Veteran serving in the US Air Force after his discharge he worked for Butricks Milk Co. of Arlington as a truck driver, after Butricks closed he worked in the automotive industry for a time and later became a U.S. Postal Mail Contractor and driver for many years.

Beside his parents he was predeceased by his late son Shawn Mchugh and his late grandson Mark Chesley.

He is survived by five sons, Leo, Arthur and Darrin McHugh all of FL., Robert McHugh of Beverly, James Jay McHugh of Lowell and a daughter Lori Chesley of Lowell. Also ten loving grandchildren. He was the brother of Peter of Utah, lawrence of Nevada, Michael and his wife Laura of Chelmsford, Ann L. McHugh of FL., Marie erickson and her husband Jack of Maine, Leona Innamorati and her husband Frank of FL., Mary Collins and her husband Charles of No. Reading, Lorraine Cargill and her husband Tim of NH., Paula Friend and her husand Douglas of FL. And many nieces and nephews.

A memorial period of remembrance and celebration of Arthur´s life will be held in th McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Friday, November 28, from 7 -9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
