HAMILTON: Marjorie G. (Tarr) Wescott, 89, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in the Emeritus Assisted Living Center in Danvers following an extended illness. She was the wife of the late James L. Wescott who died in October 2002.
Born in Gloucester on May 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Silva) Tarr. She has resided in Hamilton for the past fifty years.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Virginia Wescott of Beverly, the wife of the late Stanley Wescott, along with her grandsons, David Wescott and his wife, Deborah of Hamilton, Barry Wescott and his wife, Marci of Beverly, Shawn Wescott and his wife, Stacey of Danvers and granddaughter, Stacey Pelletier and her husband, Charles of Beverly. Also surviving are her nieces, Andrea Rizzotti and her husband, Stephen of Palm Bay, FL and Holly Blank and her husband, Michael of Colchester, VT, along with her eight great grandchildren, a great niece and nephew, and one great-grandnephew and three great-grandnieces. She was also predeceased by her sister, Theresa Hubis, formerly of Palm Bay, Florida.
Her funeral services were privately held on July 16, 2010 in the Hamilton Cemetery with the Rev. Dorrington Little officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Ste B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
