Obituary

HAVERHILL: Ada “Chris” (Hill) Trask, 86, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 in the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill following a sudden illness. She was the loving wife of the late Rodman Trask.
Born in Lynn on August 25, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Hope (Hood) Hill. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Maine and graduated from nursing school in Portsmouth, New Hampshire as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Chris worked as a licensed practical nurse for several nursing homes in Maine. She enjoyed camping, canning and cooking. She especially loved playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Amesbury VFW.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Janine Brennan of Haverhill, her beloved grandchildren, Kelly and her husband, Jeffrey Wardle of Haverhill, David Brennan and his fiancée, Kerri Calter of Abington and Michael and his wife, Cheryl Brennan of Methuen, four great-grandchildren, Brooke, Devin, Jessica, and Grace, her three sisters, Norma DeFelice of Knoxville, TN, Amy Thibeault and Ethel Tearston both of Nova Scotia, Canada, and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her step-mother, Lily (Swain) Hill, four brothers, Malcolm and David Hill and Rodie and George Crowell and one sister, Edris Bacjewski.
Her funeral services will be privately held in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
