Barbara A. Maloney, Medford, died Monday suddenly in Medford, MA.
Born and raised in Arlington, she lived in Medford for the past 50 years and was the daughter of the late Georgianna (MacRea) and James O'Leary.
Barbara retired in 1995 as a Receptionist for Allen Bradley International Aero Space and previously with Bingham, Dana and Gould law firm. She also was a member of the Arlington Historical Society.

Devoted mother of Michael Maloney and his wife Mary Lou, Daniel Maloney, Sharon McCarthy all of Medford, Patrick Maloney and his wife Natalie of West Barnstable, Katie Jernberg of Brewster, Brian Maloney and his wife Karen of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Brendan Maloney, Maria, Kenny and Maryann Huff all of Medford, Erik-Adam, Hannah, Jenna Jernberg all of Brewster, Bryan and Sean Maloney both of Woburn, and the late Markus Jernberg. Sister of Kathleen O’Leary of Wareham and Theresa Mullaney of Somerville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Friday at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
