Inez “Aggie” (Rego) Arruda, a Somerset resident for 42 years, passed away peacefully. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Arruda and the daughter of the late John & Margaret (Souza) Rego. Prior to retiring, Aggie had worked as a Sewing Machine Operator in the Garment Industry. She was also a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Margaret A. Hounsell and her husband Michael, her loving grandson: Timothy Hounsell and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Antone, & Manuel Pavao, Mary Vaillancourt, and Hilda Tavares.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Somerset at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.
