Obituary

TAUNTON – Ralph F. Oler of Taunton, formerly of Norton, died unexpectedly at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Aug. 27, 2010.
He was 53.
Born in Boston, the son of Julia May (Dalton) Larkin of Norton, he relocated with his family to the Norton area at the age of 13.
He moved to Taunton several years ago.
Ralph enjoyed cooking, and was employed as a cook in both Taunton and Norton area restaurants, including Benjamin’s and the former Ann’s Place.
An avid paint ball enthusiast, he worked as a paintball instructor for P & L Paintball of Bridgewater, where he taught the art of paintballing, and the safety rules and procedures involved in the game.
Ralph retired several years ago due to disability.
Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Jennifer Walker of Attleboro; four brothers, Richard Oler, John and Patrick Larkin, all of Norton, and Joseph Larkin of Middleboro; two sisters, Ann Adams of Taunton, and Theresa Cusack of Berkley; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was the stepson of the late Joseph P. Larkin.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, Sept. 3rd at 12 Noon.
Burial will be at Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m.
