Mrs. Alice “Dottie” Alosso, age 87 of Medford died Monday in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Alosso. Mrs. Alosso was born and raised in Somerville, daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Corbin) Morris. In earlier years she worked as a secretary, employed by the former Central Hospital in Somerville. She was an avid reader and loved to sew and crochet. She enjoyed the sun and sand. Her favorite vacations were on Cape Cod. She is survived by a son, Robert J. Alosso of Utah and a daughter: Mary Tonzillo and her husband Ciro of Medford. She is the beloved grandmother of Ciro Tonzillo Jr. of Medford, Melissa Alosso of Greenfield and Christina Bozarth of CA., 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Geraldine Williams of Medford and Bob Morris of GA. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Wednesday Sept. 1, at 9:00 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm.
