Obituary

Edna Walsh passed away on August 23rd at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was born 96 years ago in Plymouth.
She is survived by her sons Kevin Walsh of Key West, FL and Norman Mitchell and his wife Virginia of Ft. Myers, FL. She is also survived by special niece Arnie Murry, her husband Joe and family, nephew Bernie Sampson, his wife Lisa, newphews George Sampson and Richard Mahler.
Edna was predeceased by her parents Eva Mae and Fred Hall, her husband William F. Walsh, son William Walsh II and her 3 sisters, twin sister Eva Sampson, Betty Mahler and Arlene Tache.
She worked for many years as a sales clerk at Butner’s Dept. store on Court St, Plymouth. Edna enjoyed doing Italian cutwork and gifted family and friends with beautiful work.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was a rabid Boston Red Sox rooter. She loved being with family and the many friends she knew from living in Plymouth, working at Butner’s and residing at Sunrise Assisted Living Center. Joannie Barlow was a special friend of Edna’s and she enjoyed the time they spent together.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Saturday August 28th from 1 to 4 PM.
