Michael Kevin Folan age 73 of Canton passed away at home August 20th. Born and raised in Norwood, he attended Cathedral High School and graduated from Boston College Class of 1960 and lived in the Ponkapoag section of Canton for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Norfolk County Prosecutors Assn and was the Clerk of the Quincy Court for 28 years before retiring in 2002. He was an avid golfer and member of the Ponkapoag Golf Club in Canton for 55 years where he enjoyed both playing and teaching as Junior Golf Instructor. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Hirl). Father of Michael J. & Patty of Milton, Jack E. & Tanya of Stoughton, Kevin P. & Janel of Canton, Edward C. & Kerri of Stoughton & David K. & Karen of Weymouth. Grandfather of Amanda & Kevin of Canton & Matthew & Michael of Weymouth. Brother of John J. of VA. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm.
