James Charles “Jim” Nixon
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, August 19, 2010, James Charles “Jim” Nixon, 19, son of Jimmy and Barbara Nixon.
James was born and raised in Augusta. He was a 2009 graduate of Lakeside High School. James was a Self-Proclaimed Professional JUMBLER and lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Family members in addition to his parents include sister, Sarah E. Nixon; maternal grandparents, Matt and Linda DeGutes; paternal grandparents, the late John and Helen Nixon; and many loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Nixon, Tripp Nixon, Phin Davis, Jacob Davis, Kyler Timmerman, and John Grantham.
