TIMBERLAKE, MARY CATHERINE (RICHARDS), 86, passed away from the loving arms of her family to the loving arms of the Blessed Mother Mary, on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
She always held the belief that everyone was good and she always saw the good in everyone she met. She spent part of each day saying her beloved Rosary.
A graduate of Ahrens trade school, she chose to be a homemaker, and devote her time to raising her children, making them the best she knew how.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma Richards; her two husbands, Joe Metzmeier and Don Timberlake; stepson, Glenn Timberlake; brothers, Leo (Mildred) and Anthony Richards; and sisters, Lillian Fain (Bill) and Darlene Henry.
She is survived by her best friend and partner of 24 years, George Stinson; her sons, Joseph Metzmeier (June), Steven Metzmeier (Claudia), and William Metzmeier (Joan); daughters, Rosemary Neff (Wade), Denise Beumel (Tom) and Debbie McAllister (Buck); stepchildren, Mike Timberlake (Erin), Donna Ayrs, and Scott Timberlake; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, George "Junie" Richards, Jr. and Thomas Richards; sister, Betty Goodin; sister-in-law, Betty; and brother-in-law, Luke.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 4335 Hazelwood Avenue, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 -8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air, or Rosary on the Air.
