David G. Tassinari, 70 years, of Brockton, formerly of Natick, died peacefully, August 17, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Marie E. (LaBollita) Tassinari. Born and raised in Natick, he was the son of Genno P. and Marjorie K. (Lamont) Tassinari of Wayland. Dave was a 1954 graduate of Natick High School and had been employed as a Union Carpenter in construction for 25 years and retired from Amtrak after 25 years as a Union Pipefitter. Dave was a witty, outgoing person who lived every day of his life to its’ fullest. He was an avid sports fan; a member of Ridders Golf Club, and former team member of the Marlboro Shamrocks semi professional football team.
He is also survived by his children Timothy and Gina Tassinari both of Franklin, Kelly Anne (Tassinari) Maguire and David Tassinari both of Brockton; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8pm.
