Obituary

Jean G. Vaillancourt, 63, of Manchester died August 18, 2010 at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born in West Stewartstown on May 5, 1947 to Robert and Anna (Dionne) Vaillancourt. He lived in Manchester most of his life.
During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Vaillancourt owned and operated Vaillancourt Logging in Manchester for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and several private social clubs.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his wife of 41 years, Jacqueline M. (Fauteux) Vaillancourt of Manchester; two daughters, Vicky J. Vaillancourt and Nancy Vaillancourt both of Manchester; three grandchildren, Whitney Moreau, T’Yanna Hicks-Vaillancourt and Avery Hicks-Vaillancourt; a brother, Marcel Vaillancourt and his companion, Pamela Pomerleau, of Manchester; a sister, Francine Lamarre and her husband, Richard, of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother in law, George Vachon of Merrimack; a godchild, Maxim D’Anjou; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Monday, August 23, 2010 in the funeral home. Committal prayers followed at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
