Obituary

TAUNTON - James John “Jimmy” Keough, loving son of Barbara A. (Lopes) Keough and the late James J. Keough, died unexpectedly in Boston on August 15, 2010.
He was 46.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was a 1981 Taunton High School graduate and former student of UMass Amherst.
Jimmy was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Persian Gulf War, serving from 1990 until 1994.
He was currently employed as a cook by the Longhorn Steakhouse in Raynham and Pub 76 in Taunton.
Jimmy’s passions were cooking, fishing, fine dining and most of all attending concerts.
He also loved to spoil his niece and nephew, and was the best friend one could ask for.
In addition to his mother of Taunton, he leaves his sister, Michelle M. (Keough) Staton and her husband Doug of Taunton; his nephew, Christopher J. Staton, and niece, Amanda M. Staton, both of Taunton; his paternal grandmother, Anna (Argo) Keough of FL; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
He was also the grandson of the late John and Mary (Goulart) Lopes, and Joseph E. Keough.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday August 21st at 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 20th from 5 to 8 p.m.
