Janet M. (Neville) Fernald, 72, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the Copley at Stoughton on Sunday, August 15. She was the wife of the late Neal Fernald. Born and educated in Stoughton, she was a resident of both Stoughton and Canton for many years. Mrs. Fernald was a security guard at the Foxboro Company for many years. In her free time she enjoyed dancing and country music.
Mrs. Fernald is survived by her children, Sandra L. McKay of Stoughton, Susan M. Fernald and Jason M. Fernald both of Easton and Sheila D. Riggle of Holbrook, as well as 6 grandchildren. She was the sister of Margaret “Sissy” Brennick of Stoughton, Edmund J. “Buzzy” Neville of Bridgewater and the late James R. and William A. Neville.
Funeral Services will be private. Donations in Janet’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
