North Andover, MA- Paul Amato, 81, died Wednesday, August 18th at the Sutton Hill Center Nursing Home in North Andover, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born and educated in Lawrence, Paul was born on February 16th 1929, the son of John and Christina Marie (D’Agostino) Amato.
For over 32 years, Paul worked as a tester for AT&T and Western Electric in North Andover before retiring in 1991.
Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, Josephine with whom he would have shared 60 years of marriage on September 3rd. He is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Winters and her husband James of Andover, Kathy Leonard and her husband Daniel of Methuen, 2 sons, Paul Amato Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, John Amato and his wife Colette of York, ME, one brother Richard Amato of Newburyport, 10 beloved grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Kristin, Cristin, Nicole, Anthony, Nicholas, Michael, Mark, Allison, and Jessica, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, August 22nd from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Lucy’s Church at 10 AM on Monday, August 23rd.
