Cecile (Girouard) Killeen, 96 years old, widow of the late John A. Killeen who died in 1979, died Wednesday morning at her home in Lowell.
Born in Lowell on November 22, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Georgianna (Lamontagne) Girouard and received her education in the Lowell schools.
For many years, Mrs. Killeen worked as a laborer at the former Bagshaw Mills and at various other mills in the Lowell Area. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law; Allen J. Killeen and his wife Judith of Kittery, Maine and Richard F. Killeen and his wife Jean of Lehigh Acres Florida; three grandchildren, Kim, Allen Jr and Kelly Killeen and three great grandchildren, Maegan, Kelly and Braeden Killeen and her dear friends at Bruyere Gardens in Lowell.
KILLEEN- Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at 1:00 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST (Rte.38). Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the Service at 1:00. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Building Fund of the Immaculate Conception Church, 3 Fayette Street, Lowell, MA. 01852.
