Phillip Lindsey Kinard, age 36, died in Panola County on Sunday, August 15, 2010. He was born in Batesville, MS to Rayford Kinard of Aurora, IL and Linda Woods Kinard of Como, MS. Mr. Kinard was a concrete finisher with Hill Construction Company.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 1:00 PM. at Tabernacle Cemetery with Bro. Roger Howell officiating. Clarence Milam, Jr., Curtis Woods, Phillip Lewis, Tracy McNeil, Eddie Woods, Rayford Kinard, Toran Harris, Sr. and Lakendrith Bishop will serve as pallbearers. “Bay” Ivory, “Choke” Kinard, LeEdward Kinard, Johnny C. Woods, Jr., Willie Kinard, Lenard Kinard and Larry Simmons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Kimberley Kinard of Water Valley, MS; one daughter, Jakyra Wren of Como, MS; two sons, Tacody Salsberry of Senatobia, MS and Dorian Howell of Water Valley, MS; his mother, Linda Kinard of Como, MS; his father, Rayford Kinard of Aurora, IL; his grandmother, Mary Woods of Como, MS; three sisters, Tamekia Y. Bowden of Oxford, MS, Gemita Harris of Aurora, IL and Sonya Harris of Aurora, IL; and three brothers, Terrance Harris, Toran Harris and Jeremy Harris, all of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Michelle Howell.
