Obituary

Michael J. Iannazzi, 90, of Andover, MA passed away on August 9, 2010 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence.



Michael was born in Lawrence, Ma to the late Luigi & Dominica Iannazzi. Michael served in the Army-Air Force 1942 to 1945. He was the founder and co-owner of Urban Electrical Co., Inc. of Methuen with his late wife Norma Iannazzi. He was a charter member and past president of Salem Methuen Rotary Club, past Commander of the Italian-American War Veterans, past member of the Knights of Columbus, was bestowed honorary Marist Brother for his service to Central Catholic High School Lawrence Ma and a 63 year member of the I.B.E.W.



He leaves his children, Louis Iannazzi and his wife Suzanne of Pennsylvania, William J. Iannazzi and his wife Victoria of Andover, Ma, Martha (Iannazzi) Conti and husband Richard of Attleboro, Ma, along with many grand and great grand children. He leaves his brother Fred Iannazzi of Andover, sister Anna Cerullo of New York and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Loretta Rapisarda, brother Joseph Iannazzi and sister Elvira R. Tudisco.



At the request of the family services were private. Arrangements are by The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Methuen, MA. Donations in Michael’s name may be made to Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund
