METHUEN – Denise E. (Schiavone) Noorigian 69 of Methuen was called home to be with the Lord on Monday August 9, 2010 at her home in Methuen surrounded by her family.
Born in Lawrence and educated in Methuen, she was the daughter of G. Patrick and Rita (Moore) Schiavone. She attended Methuen Grammar Schools and was a graduated of St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence with the Class of 1959.
Denise was the wife of 49 years to retired Methuen Fire Deputy Chief Harry Noorigian and was active in the many fund raisers for the Methuen Fire Department and supported the baseball league. She worked at Raytheon in Andover and Mary Immaculate Nursing Home as a medical secretary. Denise loved gardening, camping and sailing in the Caribbean. She furnished her first home from yard sales and antique stores. She realized her dream when able to design and build her brand new home on Forest Lake in Methuen, where she did all her own landscaping. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her including her chocolate lab Chloe.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son Michael Noorigian of Methuen, MA, her daughter Beth Ann and her husband Wayne Simone also of Methuen.
Sister Maureen Thompson and husband Al of Salem, NH, Jadeane Gauvin and her husband Robert of Wells Maine.
Brother Robert Schiavone and his partner Dennis Hall of Hollis, NH.
Grandchildren Kayla Elizabeth. and Kenzie Marie.
Several nieces and nephews.
