Alan F. Kauffman III, 19, of Derry, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry following injuries sustained in an automoblie accident. Alan was born in Germany on July 28, 1984, a son of Alan F. and Gabriele (Nestmann) Kauffman, Jr. He was a resident of Derry for 10 years, formerly living in Germany. He enjoyed snowboarding and spending time with friends. He loved computers. He had attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry and was working towards getting an electricians license.
He is survived by his parents, of Derry, his brothers, Daniel Joseph Kauffman, Alexander Christian Johann Kauffman both of Derry, paternal grandparents, Alan F. and Bonita Kauffman, Sr. of Glen St. Mary, FL, maternal grandfather, Erich G.J. Nestmann of Kemel, Germany, maternal grandmother, Herta Nestmann of Wiesbaden, Germany; six aunts, two uncles, and many cousins.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 23rd at 2:00PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 - 2pm prior to the service.
