Ret. Capt. Richard F. “Triss” Trischitta 61 of Plymouth and Randolph devoted husband to Karen Monti Trischitta for 40 years. Dedicated father to John and Richie as well as his daughter in laws, Richies wife Kristen Mahoney and Johns wife Nichole Alden. He cherished his grandchildren Amanda, Brianna, Johnny and Nicholas. He loved his mother Margeret Triss and his departed father Victor, his sister Dana Marie and her husband Alan Grant, his brother Victor Trischitta and his wife Shelby, his sister Valerie and her husband Bob Adams. Along with his father in law Jack Monti and his departed mother in law Anne Marion , his sister in laws, he had many nieces and nephews, life long friends and many loved ones. The qualities Ricky had are rare, anyone who knew him will miss him greatly! He was a straight shooter and devoted his life to his family and adored by his grandchildren! He was loved by all who knew him!
Ret. Capt. Richard Trischitta served of the Newton Fire Dept. Local 863. Side by side with men he considered brothers for over 30 years. His fondest memory on the job was the delivery of a newborn baby. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war as a PFC. After being injured and returning home he was awarded the Purple Heart. We are proud of his courage and valor and dedication to his Country, his profession and most of all his family and friends.
Coaching his sons and their friends baseball team for many years was very rewarding to Ricky. He was an avid pool player and earned “Top Stick” at the Fan Club in Wareham. He was well known at many pool halls, especially Jillian’s in Holbrook.. The services will be held August 11 at Richard Davis Funeral Home at 3pm-7pm at 619 State Rd. (Rt.3A) Plymouth (Manomet) 02360. The burial will take place Thursday August 12 at 1pm at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
