Obituary

Salem: Frances D. (Leger) (Saindon) Pelletier, age 92 died unexpectedly Sunday morning, August 8, 2010 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry Saindon and also was the wife of the late Henry Cloutier.

Born in New Brunswick, Canada, she came to Salem as a child, with her parents, the late Leo and Sarah (LeBlanc) Leger. As a young woman she first worked for the former CBS Hytron of Salem and in later years, worked part time for the Salem Hospital. Frances had a wonderful sense of humor and a great smile. She loved traveling and Bingo as well as events planned by the Salem Council on Aging. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish and Les Dames de la Ste. Famille of that parish.

She is survived by a son, Philip H. Saindon and his wife Germaine of Salem, a daughter, Suzanne M. Tremblay and her husband Richard of Marblehead, 4 grandchildren, Todd R. Tremblay of Swampscott, Lisa and Paul LeJeune of Lynn, Glen Saindon of Beverly, Laura Saindon of Salem. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Violet LeBlanc.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 9 a.m. in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are by the Levesque Funeral Home of Salem.
