Thomas W. McGreevy, age 68, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 while surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Carol L. (Gelosomini) McGreevy of Medford.
He was born in Virsailles, Ohio on January 25, 1935, a son of the late J. Marion McGreevy and Alma C. (Begien) McGreevy. Thomas grew up in Detroit, Michigan then resided in Boston for 20 years and Medford for the last 21 years.
He was a past member of the Friends of the Middlesex Fells Reservation.
Besides leaving his beloved wife, Carol L. (Gelsomini) McGreevy of Medford, Thomas also leaves his loving stepson Thomas P. and his wife Janice M. O’Brien of Reading. He is the cherished grandfather of Eric, Adam and Julie O’Brien.
His funeral will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Saturday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours, Friday, November 21st from 5 to 8 p.m.
