Obituary

Mary V. Freuchet, of Wilmington formerly of Dorchester and Quincy, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness in her home with her family by her sideon August 6th, she was 81 years of age. Mary was the beloved wife of Max L. Freuchet and together they shared 57 years of marriage. She was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., Canada and was the daughter of the late Ed and Peg (McFarland) Burke.

Mary was a Wilmington resident for thirty-three years and formerly live in both Dorchester and Quincy. She worked for a number of years as a salesperson for the Brigham's Candy Store in Dorchester. Mary was an active parishioner of St. Dorothy Church in Wilmington where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality and volunteered her time for many different church events. Her faith was strong and was a very important part of her life. Mary was most of all devoted to her family and enjoyed caring for her home both inside and outside making sure that it was always a warm and welcoming place for her family and friends.

In addition to her beloved husband, Mary is survived by her cherished son; Max V. Freuchet of Wilmington. She is preceded in death by her sister, the late Lucy McCormick.

A memorial services will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington on Wednesday, August 11th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the VNA of Middlesex East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave, Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.
