Louis J. Aboud of Methuen, died Thursday, August 5th, 2010.
He was born in Lawrence and educated in the Lawrence Schools. He served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII and rose to the rank of Tech Sergeant.
Louis was an active member of Saint Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He was the produce manager for the former Purity Supreme Markets for many years. After his retirement he enjoyed his part time work at Hickory Hill Golf Course and also at the Derry Auto Auction.
He leaves his wife of 65 years Louise A. (Saliba) Aboud of Methuen
His daughter-in-law Frances of Georgia wife of the late Kenneth; their children Amy and her husband Michael McIntyre and Michael Aboud.
His son Robert and his wife Colleen of Florida and their sons; Stephen and Ross and his wife Jennifer.
Lou also had two Great Grandchildren Tyler and Mia McIntyre.
He also leaves many nieces and nephews who were very special to him.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 9th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Anthony's Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery in Andover, MA.
