Helen I. Placek, 90 of Hampstead, MD died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Dove House-Carroll Hospice in Westminster. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Placek, Sr and devoted mother of John J. Placek, Jr and his wife Judy. Loving grandmother of Denise & Michael Maness; Michelle & Pete Bounelis and Heather Placek & Phil. Dear great grandmother of Gabriel and John Bounelis.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, August 6 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 P.M., where all are invited to attend a Catholic Prayer Service on Saturday, August 7 at 10 A.M.
