Obituary

Lois T. (Telfer) Watjen, 82 of Salem, NH died Wed. Aug. 4th at Salemhaven in Salem, NH.

Lois was born in Arlington, MA and was a lifelong resident of Salem, graduating from Woodbury High School. She was the daughter of the late Hilda (Wentworth) and Harold Telfer. Lois was in the US Navy Waves during WW II. She attended the School of Fashion and Design in Boston.

Lois was a member of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Salem Historical Society. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and collecting ducks.

She was predeceased by her husband John Watjen. The family would like to express their appreciation to Salemhaven for the wonderful care they gave to Lois.

Peter Boylan and fiancé Elaine Ben-David of Candia, NH
Dana Boylan and his wife Kathy of Salem, NH

Daughters: Audrey LaRoche of Salem, NH
Paula and her husband Bruce Mills of Maryland

Step-sons: Glenn Watjen and his wife Audrey of Raymond, NH
Gary Watjen of Florida
Brian Watjen and wife Dawn of Port Orford, Oregon

Numerous, loving Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Calling hours will be Fri. Aug. 6th from 4-7 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will follow at 7PM.
